Middle School Youth (6th - 8th grade)

  • Mission Trips:
    • Each summer, the Middle School Youth participate in a work experience middle school youthmission trip.  These trips allow our middle school students the opportunity to serve our Lord through serving others.  They will get to see new places, meet new people and share God's love through unselfish service.
  • Service Projects:
    • Our Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in a number of different service projects this year.  Some of the facilities that the students will be working at are homeless shelters, nursing homes and child care facilities.  The vale of this type of experience for a young person is immeasurable.  We wil be serving at Kids Food Basket, 2nd Mile House, Degage Ministries, Mel Trotter as well as helping around church and assisting older members of our church family.
  • Camp Crystal
    • Crystal (near Frankfort) is host to a number of camp sessions every summer

  • Sunday School:
    • Sunday school is held in the Lodge upstairs in Centennial Hall each Sunday morning.  The 6th-8th grades should go to the 9:30 am service with their parents and will then be dismissed to Sunday School following offering.

  • Wednesday Night Small Group:
    • During our time together we will talk about topics that affect Christian teens today and discuss what the Bible has to say about these issues.  So join us in the Lodge upstairs in Centennial Hall on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm for fun, food and great discussions.

  • Membership Class (6th Grade):
    •  Cascade Christian Church will have the annual membershp class for sixth graders on Sunday, November 6 and 13, from 12:15 - 2:00pm in the Middle School Room.  Lunch will be provided.  We will learn what it means to be part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), make a profession of faith, and be baptized.

Contact Pastor Jill or Adam to sign up for the two classes.  Baptism Sunday will be November 20 at 10:30am in the sanctuary.

  • Youth Group:
    • Each month we meet for some type of fun activity.  So bring a friend and a sense of adventure.
